iBake was founded in January 2009 as a way for me  to connect with other people who love to bake but simply just don’t have the time.  At the time I was a mom who worked during the day and baked at night for my family, friends, neighbors, school functions, and anyone else who enjoyed a cookie or two.

I decided that I needed an avenue for exploration and so my business began. I started small with just a few products on hand. Over the past few months I’ve continued to grow in content and I am fortunate to now have a range of products which include cleaning products as well.

All the products on the site have been tested and baked by me. I do not use outside recipe testers as I prefer to test each and every product myself in my own kitchen and home.

 

In a family, baking is an important ways of transmitting culture. But in these fast times, who else has the time to fill up a file case with recipes? There are so many great family recipes available on the internet nowadays. Do you have the time to measure the ingredients from start to finish?

In closing, to become a good baker all you need are good ingredients and some time and patience in the kitchen. Practice does eventually lead to excellence so I encourage you to start easy and as your confidence builds you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
